Typography, colours and buttons
Create a consistent visual system with readable colour pairs.
Global design settings
- Open Theme settings → Colors. Set Background with Text, Surface with Text on surface, and Accent with Text on accent.
- Open Typography to choose Heading font, Body font and Font scale.
- Use Layout and style to adjust Page width, Section spacing and Button corner radius.
Preview every page
Global settings affect products, collections, cart and content pages. Check each after changing the palette. Campaign sections can have their own colour controls. Check these separately. Mobile headings and primary actions are centred or fill the available width.
Focal points
Use Shopify image focal point controls to keep your subject in view. Add a separate mobile image where available. Check portrait and wide crops before saving.
